A gentle paced run around my standard route. To make sure I didn’t run to hard I went round in the reverse direction, to include the longer uphill segment.
For some reason I tied my left show laces a little tighter than my foot wanted, and I had to stop on a couple of occasions to adjust my shoe. I am not sure what is happening here as I had the same issue yesterday. I must pay more attention when putting my shoes on in future, rather than just going through the emotions of lacing them up.
I managed to get a little further up the hill than the last time, and then didn’t need a breather once I reached the top. I am not going to read too much into this, as the pace wasn’t exactly electric either before the hill or trying to run up it.
My chest continues to show very positive signs. My legs are feeling stronger and I have no niggles. The weight loss is progressing well, which is in turn, making running a little easier. If all goes according to plan, I should be a quarter of the way to my goal weight.
